Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at ExtraCare Charitable Trust. As a Shop Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of volunteers and staff to achieve sales and profit targets, while delivering an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of volunteers and staff to achieve sales and profit targets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive customer engagement and sales growth.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the shop, including stock management, visual merchandising, and customer service.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a highly motivated team of volunteers and staff.
  • Deliver high merchandising standards and maintain a clean and safe shopping environment.
  • Promote our work in the local community and build relationships with local businesses and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in retail management, with a track record of delivering sales and profit targets.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, including stock management, visual merchandising, and customer service.
