Commercial Director

Prodrive is a leading independent motorsport company with a rich history of innovation and success. We're seeking a highly skilled Commercial Controller to join our team and drive our off-road programmes to new heights.
As a Commercial Controller, you will be responsible for partnering with internal and external stakeholders to optimize our commercial performance and deliver profitable projects to budget. You will bring a high level of independence, ownership, and sound judgement to the role, and your strong customer and commercial perspective will strengthen relationships with our customers and drive efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Aftersales
- Partner with the sales team to develop and implement sales strategies that meet or exceed targets.
- Support the development of commercial plans and budgets, and ensure that all commercial activities are aligned with business objectives.
- Work closely with the purchasing team to identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to drive commercial growth and improve customer satisfaction.
Profitability
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial models and forecasts to inform commercial decision-making.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure that all commercial activities are aligned with financial objectives and that financial performance is optimized.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve profitability and reduce costs.
Forecasts
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date forecasts to inform commercial decision-making.

Customer and Manufacturer Relationships
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders to drive commercial growth and improve customer satisfaction.

Data and Reporting

Requirements:
We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Controller who can bring a high level of independence, ownership, and sound judgement to the role. You will have a strong customer and commercial perspective, and be able to develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
