Paediatric Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Paediatric Nurse to join our team at Thornbury Community Services. As a Paediatric Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to young people with complex needs.

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to work with a 4-year-old girl with Cornelia De Lange syndrome, ASD, and Bilateral profound sensorineural hearing loss. You will be responsible for providing bespoke care and support to enable her to stabilise at home and achieve personal goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing complex care and support to young people with complex needs
  • Working collaboratively with the client's family and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
  • Delivering high-quality care and support to enable the client to achieve personal goals and stabilise at home
  • Tracheostomy care and suction
  • Care and use of gastrostomy
