Main Responsibilities- Transportation of Patients: Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments, taking into account their medical needs and any special requirements.
- Communication and Customer Service: Provide excellent communication and customer service skills to patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals.
- Vehicle Maintenance and Safety: Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure the ambulance is roadworthy and report any defects to the relevant authorities.
- Administration and Record-Keeping: Accurately complete administration tasks, including recording patient information and submitting reports as required.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team to provide a high-quality service to patients and customers.
- Qualifications and Training: Full manual UK driving license, Community First Responder qualification, and GCSE at grade C or above (or equivalent) in Maths or English.
- Experience and Skills: Previous customer service experience, demonstrable experience as an Ambulance Care Assistant, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
