Job Overview

We are seeking a Site Agent to be part of our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks Team, focusing on wastewater treatment projects.

Location: - West Midlands

Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time, with options for flexible and part-time hours available upon request.

Key Responsibilities

As a Site Agent, you will oversee the workforce at the wastewater treatment site, ensuring the successful execution of capital projects in the water sector. Your role will involve enhancing the efficiency and resilience of wastewater treatment facilities.

Your daily tasks will include:

  • Leading subcontractor teams to ensure safe and quality work delivery, minimizing environmental impact.
  • Implementing Project Plans, Risk Assessments, Inspection Test Plans, and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
  • Collaborating with project planners and managers to maintain awareness of construction schedules.
  • Conducting site inductions, managing permits/forms, and facilitating daily briefings, including toolbox talks, while maintaining accurate records.
  • Performing weekly site audits and coordinating with project managers on Requests for Information.
  • Chairing site meetings and providing weekly progress reports to project management.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for the Site Agent position will possess:

  • Extensive experience within the construction sector.
  • In-depth understanding of contract conditions, CDM regulations, design management, program and risk management, as well as cost control practices.
  • Proficiency in developing, reviewing, and implementing Safe Systems of Work for specific tasks.
  • A valid CSCS Card.
