Job Overview

Kier Group is seeking a Site Agent to oversee operations within our Natural Resources, Nuclear and Networks Team, specifically focusing on wastewater treatment projects.

Location: West Midlands

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time – flexible and part-time options may be considered

Key Responsibilities

As a Site Agent, your primary duties will include:

  • Supervising a team of subcontractors to ensure safe and environmentally compliant project execution while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Implementing Project Plans, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and ensuring the approval of supply chain RAMS in accordance with company protocols.
  • Collaborating with project planners and managers to stay informed about construction schedules.
  • Conducting site inductions, managing permits/forms, and delivering daily briefings, including toolbox talks, while maintaining accurate records.
  • Performing weekly site audits and coordinating with the project manager to document and address Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Leading site meetings and providing weekly progress reports to the project manager.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate for the Site Agent position will possess:

  • Extensive experience within the construction sector.
  • In-depth understanding of contract conditions, CDM regulations, design management, program and risk management, as well as cost control practices.
  • Proficiency in developing, reviewing, and executing Safe Systems of Work for specific tasks.
  • A valid CSCS Card.
