About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Activities Coordinator to join our team at Rosebank House, a specialist care home providing support for individuals with severe and enduring mental health conditions.

As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in creating a stimulating and engaging environment for our service users, promoting their independence, social inclusion, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement activity programmes that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our service users.
  • Build strong relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure a person-centered approach.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to identify and address the social, recreational, and leisure needs of our service users.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks associated with activities.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and security of service users, staff, and visitors.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activity programmes, making adjustments as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 months experience in a mental health setting (desirable).
  • Basic group work skills and ability to communicate effectively.
  • Initiative, motivation, and a solution-focused approach to problem-solving.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Awareness of mental health and its impact on functioning.
  • Full UK driving license (desirable).
