Are you an experienced Legal Support Specialist seeking a new challenge? A prominent global engineering firm specializing in the design, construction, and management of innovative and sustainable infrastructure projects is on the lookout for a dedicated Legal Support Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis.


This pivotal role is designed to assist legal operations across various jurisdictions, offering expert guidance to diverse Business Lines and Operating Companies while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and relevant legislation.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and evaluate legal trends in the UK, APAC, and North America to provide timely and pertinent legal insights.
  • Conduct thorough legal research on specific matters as requested by internal stakeholders.
  • Aid in the management of litigation cases, including document examination, preparation of legal documents, and coordination with external legal advisors.
  • Track and communicate litigation developments to relevant parties.
  • Contribute to formulating strategies for effective and economical dispute resolution.
  • Maintain and update the legal department's documentation system on shared platforms and archives.
  • Ensure precise and current records of communications, memos, legal opinions, and other significant documents.
  • Implement and refine knowledge management systems to enhance the accessibility and usability of legal information.
  • Maintain comprehensive records regarding the selection, engagement, and compensation of external legal counsel.
  • Assist with compliance initiatives related to corporate policies, industry regulations, and local laws.

Key Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), ideally in a corporate or law firm environment with exposure to international matters.
  • Exceptional legal research and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in legal document management and knowledge management systems.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
  • Business-level proficiency in a foreign language (French, German, Norwegian, or Chinese) is a plus.
