This role will be part of our innovative AI Labs' department, which develops and deploys AI-driven solutions to enhance workflows across Parexel and the life sciences industry. The team collaborates with business stakeholders to create best-in-class AI-driven solutions when existing options are insufficient.

This position is based in the UK and can be either office based (Uxbridge) or fully home based anywhere in the UK. The office is open-plan, and you will work in a collaborative environment with international peers and colleagues.

As a Senior Clinical Project Specialist, you will contribute to ensuring the quality and implementation of AI Labs' software applications. Your responsibilities will include testing and configuring software applications according to client and business requirements, evaluating AI models integrated in AI Labs' software for clinical workflows, and providing project management for the rollout of AI Labs' developed software and proof of concept projects. You will bring an experienced clinical and project leadership perspective to the work executed by the AI Labs team.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management

  • Support project initiatives, including proof of concept pilot projects and client project software implementation, with full end-to-end management.
  • Display excellence in subject matter, professionalism, organization, and communication.
  • Foster partnerships across varied functional teams and serve as the primary point of contact for key stakeholders.
  • Responsible for successful project delivery.
  • Contribute to best practice process improvements and standards.
Software Implementation and Support
  • Configure and implement projects in AI Labs developed products to meet client requirements.
  • Develop an understanding of user workflows in the products.
  • Coordinate with product and engineering to escalate issues and test new features to satisfy user requirements.
  • Provide excellent user support to facilitate adoption and use of the products, optimizing the user experience.
AI Integrated Software Testing and Validation
  • Support AI Labs product development and validation through software testing and AI model evaluation.
  • Execute AI model evaluation per defined evaluation framework.
  • Clinical analysis for AI model and data iterations.
  • Contribute to the development of new AI-driven solutions through thoughtful insights from clinical and user perspectives.
Product and Customer Satisfaction
  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs, pain points, data, and end goals to ensure the solutions meet their needs.
  • Partner with product and engineering to maintain quality work and anticipate problems.
  • Participate in sprint planning and check-in meetings to identify customer needs, roadblocks, and solutions.
Requirements
  • Educated to degree level in health care, technology, or sciences or equivalent technical IT project management experience.
Skills
  • Strong project management skills, including planning and executing toward critical timelines, overall management of project requirements, and progress monitoring.
  • Ability to form strong partnerships across varying roles and functional organizations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Technology proficiency, including familiarity with software product rollouts and end-user support.
  • Comfort level with learning new technologies and supporting product development efforts from a quality perspective.
  • Ability to work remotely and effectively collaborate with a distributed team.
  • Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail.
  • Exhibits a sense of urgency for solving problems and completing work.
Knowledge and Experience
  • Advanced level AI technical project management and support experience.
  • Intermediate level experience working in life sciences or a related healthcare domain.
  • Experience in technology implementation and data analysis essential.
  • Experience or interest in learning about generative AI and contributing to the development of AI-integrated software products as well as Proof of Concept products.
  • Experience analyzing clinical data.
  • Experience using JIRA and Confluence.
