Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at TwentyFour Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial stability and growth of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership Input: Provide sound advice on all legislative and regulatory requirements for the Group.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis as requested by the Finance Director or CEO.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders, including the Finance Director, CEO, and Board of Directors.
  • Financial Planning: Assist in the development of financial plans and budgets, ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Financial Control: Ensure the implementation of effective financial controls and risk management techniques throughout the Group.
  • Financial Systems: Ensure the financial systems across the organization are fit for purpose, providing accurate and timely information, as required both internally and externally.
  • Audit and Compliance: Prepare audit schedules and support with group consolidation, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Financial Policies: Develop, write, and communicate financial policies and best practice procedures to all staff.
  • Statutory Accounts: Ensure the provision of statutory accounts with a clean audit report annually.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Part Qualified or Fully Qualified.
  • Experience: Good working knowledge of reporting requirements and regulations for Charity and SORP reporting is essential.
  • Skills: Experienced in preparation of Group Statutory & Management Accounts, Xero accounting package, and excellent organizational and prioritizing skills.
  • Personal Attributes: Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, team player with experience in staff management, and excellent attention to detail.
