Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyse financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, to provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Financial Planning: Develop and maintain budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial projections to ensure the company's continued growth and success.
  • Financial Operations: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections, and manage payroll operations to ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Financial Controls: Implement and maintain robust financial controls and risk management procedures to safeguard the company's assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Insights: Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and drive financial improvements across the organisation.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: ACCA qualified or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role. QBE considered but will need industry experience.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and analysis within the construction industry, proficient in financial management software, including SAGE, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience: Proven track record of driving financial improvements and efficiency's in an SME environment.
