We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Midwife to join our team as a Clinical Leader in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Nursing, Medical, and Allied Health Professional teams to set and deliver clinical standards for quality patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the development and implementation of quality initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Providing guidance and support to the NICU Nursing and Support teams to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Collaborating with the Maternity, Neonatal & Gynaecology (MN&G) Management team to support and deliver the unit vision, aligning to regional and national requirements and recommendations.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Greater than 5 years of experience at Band 6 or higher.
- A QIS Qualification.
- Experience in a quality role or quality improvement.
