As a Mechanical Transmission Engineer, you will engage in a comprehensive design process, encompassing everything from innovative concepts to maintenance practices. This role offers flexible working arrangements.

Your Responsibilities as a Mechanical Transmission Engineer:

Design Responsibilities:

  • Develop layouts for transmission systems, including 3D models and 2D schematics
  • Assist in enhancing and modifying products
  • Oversee transmission configuration and establish build standards
  • Compile reports and create presentations

Analytical Responsibilities:

  • Support initial design phases with sizing assessments
  • Conduct Finite Element Analysis
  • Produce Structural Analysis documentation
  • Assist with evaluations during production and in-service phases

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
  • Familiarity with transmission components
  • Experience in a mechanical design setting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a regulated industry
  • Understanding of helicopter systems
  • Proficiency in Finite Element Analysis software
