Employee Relations Specialist

We are excited to offer a hybrid working opportunity for a seasoned Employee Relations Advisor (People Services Advisor) to join us on our journey towards true nourishment.
The Role |
The selected candidate will provide support to our restaurant teams on various employee relations matters and collaborate with the people team on essential projects and processes.
Key Responsibilities |
- Overseeing employee relations by guiding and coaching managers in addressing personnel issues.
- Leading procedures related to employee relations, including disciplinary actions, grievances, probation evaluations, and flexible working arrangements.
- Collaborating with the broader people team to assess training needs for managers and facilitate employee relations training for restaurant management teams.
- Managing our people services help desk and HR chatbot, addressing inquiries effectively.
- Assisting with benefits inquiries and processing benefits for new employees.
- Coordinating employee lifecycle administration alongside the people development administrator for both new and existing staff.
- Contributing to the creation of new people policies and updating existing ones.
- Analyzing and reporting on periodic employee relations data, engaging with people business partners and other stakeholders to review insights on key themes and trends.
- Providing support in managing early conciliation notifications or employment tribunal cases, working closely with Wagamama's employment legal advisors to supply case-related documentation and insights.
- Proven experience in managing a high volume of employee relations cases across various levels.
- Strong understanding of investigation processes, disciplinary actions, grievance handling, absence management, and performance management.
- Demonstrated knowledge of employment law and compliance with best practices.
- Able to meet deadlines and exhibit a sense of urgency in resolving issues.
- Experience in generalist people-related processes, practices, and administration.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification is desirable.
