Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Employee Relations Specialist to join our team at Capita. As an Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on various Employee Relations matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and employees on Employee Relations matters, including absence management, risk assessments, and mental health issues.
  • Facilitate absence management to support smooth return to work and minimize disruption to the business.
  • Raise awareness on Employee Relations best practices and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Record and manage Employee Relations cases accurately and timely, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Act as an escalation point for Employee Relations Assistants and provide guidance on complex cases.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Employee Relations, with a strong understanding of ER theory, legislation, and best practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent experience in HR or Employee Relations.
  • Shared service centre experience preferred, but not essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
