Linen Porter

We are seeking a skilled Linen Porter to join our team at DoubleTree by Hilton Southampton. As a Linen Porter, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our linen supplies.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain linen control reports and records, identifying any linen abuse or discrepancies.
- Work to daily schedules, ensuring all linen is counted correctly and discrepancies are reported.
- Secure linen room keys and maintain the linen room while on duty.
- Familiarize yourself with the weekly function sheet, ensuring stock levels are correct and the C&B department has requested linen stocks.
- Ensure security surrounding linen service cupboards on bedroom floors is adhered to.
- Conduct security checks in the evening, closing and locking all linen chutes and stock cupboards.
- Assist guests and display excellent customer care and social skills.
- Deal with guest complaints or compliments, referring to senior management as needed.
- Work collaboratively with staff and management.
- Attend hotel and departmental training sessions as instructed.
- Work within all Health & Safety requirements.
