We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Linen Porter at DoubleTree by Hilton Southampton. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of linen control and ensuring the smooth operation of our linen service.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate linen control reports and records
- Work to daily schedules to ensure efficient linen distribution and collection
- Count and reconcile linen stock to identify any discrepancies
- Ensure the security of linen room keys and the linen room
- Collaborate with the C&B department to ensure timely linen deliveries
- Conduct security checks to prevent linen theft and ensure all linen chutes and stock cupboards are secure
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to guest complaints or compliments
- Work effectively with colleagues and management to achieve team goals
- Participate in hotel and departmental training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols
