This position presents an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong emphasis on risk management and internal controls to join the Group Risk division at SJP. The primary focus will be to refine the internal control strategy to align with regulatory standards and the upcoming UK Corporate Governance Code reforms.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Formulating methodologies to bolster the Internal Control Framework
  • Overseeing risk and control self-evaluations
  • Enhancing awareness and implementation of internal controls across the organization
  • Directing the risk management system and its reporting capabilities
  • Offering specialist insights on controls for governance discussions

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing risk and control management frameworks
  • In-depth understanding of internal control systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation abilities
  • Highly organized with a versatile approach
