We are seeking an experienced Internal Controls Specialist to join our Group Risk function. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving enhancements to our internal control approach to meet evolving regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evolving, documenting and embedding methodologies to support an uplifted Internal Control Framework.
  • Leading, guiding and supporting the business to deliver activities that strengthen the identification of key controls and the design / operation of controls.
  • Improving internal controls awareness and adoption of the Controls Framework throughout the business.
  • Developing and guiding the risk management system and reporting functionality.
  • Providing controls specialist input and progress updates for various governance fora.
Requirements
  • Financial Services experience with a background of operational risk.
  • Experience of designing and applying risk and control management frameworks.
  • Practical knowledge of implementing or operating internal control frameworks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organised with a flexible approach.
