Position Overview

The role is centered around providing essential support for a secure and efficient pharmaceutical re-packaging and over-labeling operation.

You will engage in the sourcing, manufacturing, and distribution of medication packs for take-out (TTO) in accordance with established good manufacturing practice (GMP) standards.

Role Details

The Pharmacy department is seeking a motivated individual to join our Production team.

The Pharmacy Production unit is responsible for creating re-packed and over-labeled patient TTO packs for both the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and other healthcare facilities across the South of England, the Midlands, and Wales. As a member of the production team, you will contribute to delivering this vital service to our clients.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess GCSEs in Mathematics and English or equivalent qualifications, along with experience in a pharmacy, production, or distribution setting. Familiarity with relevant Level 2 Pharmacy Services BTEC units is advantageous, as is experience in GMP production; however, comprehensive training will be provided.

Additional Information

This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months. Current NHS employees may consider this position as a secondment opportunity.
