As our client base and service offerings expand, we are looking for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer to support operations at water company sites across central and northern England.

Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team, typically consisting of two engineers, across various sites.
- Assist in the inspection, servicing, and repair of dewatering machinery.
- Support mechanical repairs and modifications for pumps, piping, valves, and related equipment.
- Help with the installation of piping using various materials, including plastic, stainless steel, and mild steel.
- Be available for standby duties and overtime, including potential travel away from home.
- Assist in completing test reports, installation certifications, and customer feedback documentation.
- Work alongside on-site customer teams.
- Act as a point of contact for customers on-site.
- Support the maintenance and repair of dewatering equipment at sewage and clean water treatment facilities.
- Contribute to the efficient operation of assets, minimizing downtime and pollution risks.
- Help optimize raw material usage through effective service and maintenance practices.
Qualifications We Seek:
Essential:
- Valid UK Driving License
- Experience in an industrial setting or recent qualification in mechanical engineering
Desirable:
- NVQ or recognized apprenticeship in mechanical engineering maintenance, Level 2
- First Aid Certification
- Confined Space Certification
