Job Title: Mechanical Services Engineer

Dutton Recruitment is seeking a skilled Mechanical Services Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining materials handling equipment, ensuring it is safe, compliant, and fit for purpose.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Planned service on vacuum tube lifting systems
  2. Planned installations of equipment
  3. Breakdown service on all equipment
  4. Upgrade installations and subsequent maintenance
  5. Training of operators
  6. Management of van stock parts
  7. Completing written reports
  8. Providing feedback on problem issues
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role
  2. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems
  3. Minimum NVQ level 3 or time-served equivalent
  4. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  5. Good communication skills and customer-oriented approach
