Pharmacy Manager - Dispensing Services

A leading family-run pharmacy with strong ties to local healthcare services is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Manager to lead the dispensing team in Lewes.

Located in a prime position for convenient healthcare, the pharmacy offers a wide range of services, including Pharmacy First, travel and seasonal vaccinations, emergency medicines, healthy living support, and screenings.

As a Pharmacy Manager, you will work closely with the Superintendent Pharmacist to oversee the day-to-day running of the dispensary, ensuring a safe and collaborative environment for patients and staff.

This is a permanent, full-time role that requires a strong background in pharmacy management, with experience in leading a team and managing dispensing services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the dispensing team to ensure efficient and safe dispensing services.
  2. Work closely with the Superintendent Pharmacist to develop and implement dispensing strategies.
  3. Manage the day-to-day running of the dispensary, including staff supervision and training.
  4. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and pharmacy standards.
Requirements:
  1. NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Dispenser or NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Technician/ACT.
  2. Registration with the GPhC if a Technician/ACT.
  3. Experience managing a pharmacy team.
  4. Tier 2 visa sponsorship available for candidates with UK-based pharmacy experience.
