Bank Support Worker in Camborne

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bank Support Worker to join our team in Camborne. As a Bank Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with learning disabilities, supporting them to live fulfilling lives.
About the RoleAs a Bank Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing support to individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to access their communities, develop daily living skills, and maintain their health and wellbeing. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement individual care plans, ensuring that each person receives the support they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop daily living skills with individuals
- Support individuals to access their communities for socialisation, employment, training, or friendships
- Contribute to, develop, and implement individual care plans
- Communicate effectively and professionally with individuals, their family members, and external professionals
- Maintain the health needs of individuals
We offer a range of benefits to our Bank Support Workers, including:
- Sleep-ins paid at £60 extra (basic salary £12.27 p/h)
- Full training to gain the nationally recognised Care Certificate
- Time to complete training is paid
- We cover the cost of DBS checks
- Rota's are planned in advance
- Successfully 'recommend a friend' to join us and you'll receive a thank-you payment
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A willingness to learn and develop your skills
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
- A full, manual, UK driving licence
