We are enhancing our Security and Resilience team within the CISO office. Our continuous improvement journey has led us to seek additional talent to bolster our capabilities. These new positions will empower us to fully implement our threat-led security strategy, advance our cyber resilience, and support our overarching goal of establishing a secure and resilient organization.

We are in search of a proficient and experienced Identity Governance Specialist to join our IAM team at Royal London. This role is pivotal in safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our digital assets through effective management of user access and privileges.

In this capacity, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust access control systems. Your responsibilities will include developing and enforcing security policies and procedures, conducting regular security assessments, and troubleshooting identity and access-related challenges.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in IAM, demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities, and exhibit a proactive approach with meticulous attention to detail. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage Identity Governance solutions.
  • Evaluate requirements for IGA solutions to align with stakeholder needs.
  • Develop technical cybersecurity controls and establish standards and best practices for IGA principles across various platforms.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to formulate and enforce security policies and procedures.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership regarding security, capacity, usage, and licensing of IGA solutions.
  • Support production IGA infrastructure systems and processes.
  • Demonstrate expertise in SailPoint IDN, including configuration, customization, and administration.
  • Possess knowledge of identity governance principles such as user provisioning, access management, and role-based access control.
  • Integrate SailPoint IDN with HR systems, Active Directory, and other identity sources.
  • Customize SailPoint IDN to meet specific business requirements, including workflows and connectors.
  • Investigate and resolve access-related incidents and issues.
  • Monitor and analyze access logs for any suspicious activities.

About You

  • As a member of the IAM Team, you will ensure compliance with security principles through access certifications and identity lifecycle management.
  • Experience in IT and security with a comprehensive understanding of Identity and Access Management functions.
  • Proven track record in implementing security control frameworks and standards.
  • Relevant certifications in Information Security such as CISSP or equivalent experience.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism in handling sensitive situations.
  • Ability to manage critical situations and escalations effectively.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with vendors to support initiatives.
  • Knowledge of information security principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with a history of managing complex projects in a diverse organization.
