These new positions will empower us to implement our threat-led security initiatives, further enhance our cybersecurity posture, and support our organizational objective of fostering a secure and resilient environment.
We are in search of a highly proficient Identity and Access Management Specialist to join our IAM team at Royal London. This role focuses on Identity Governance Administration (IGA) solutions, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our digital assets through effective user access and privilege management.
In this position, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust access control systems. Your responsibilities will include developing and enforcing security policies and procedures, conducting regular security assessments, and troubleshooting identity and access-related challenges.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in IAM, exhibit strong problem-solving abilities, and demonstrate a proactive, detail-oriented approach. Effective communication of complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is essential, as is the ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Identity Governance Administration solutions.
- Evaluate requirements for IGA solutions to fulfill stakeholder needs.
- Develop technical cybersecurity controls and establish standards and best practices for IGA principles in cloud environments and secure application design.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to formulate and enforce security policies and procedures.
- Provide regular updates to leadership regarding security, capacity, usage, and licensing of IGA solutions.
- Support production IGA infrastructure systems and processes.
- Expertise in SailPoint IDN: Proficient in configuring, customizing, and administering SailPoint IdentityNow.
- Understanding of identity governance principles such as user provisioning, access management, role-based access control (RBAC), and segregation of duties (SoD).
- Ability to integrate SailPoint IDN with HR systems, Active Directory, and other identity sources.
- Experience in customizing SailPoint IDN to meet specific business requirements, including workflows, connectors, and integration with other systems.
- Investigate and resolve access-related incidents and issues.
- Monitor and analyze access logs and reports for suspicious activities.
About You
- As a member of the IAM Team, you will ensure security principles are upheld through access certifications, application onboarding, identity lifecycle management, and governance of Joiner, Mover, Leaver processes.
- Combined IT and security experience with extensive exposure to Identity and Access Management functions and experience in designing and deploying IGA solutions at the enterprise level.
- Demonstrated success in implementing security control frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, COBIT, ITIL, and NIST.
- Relevant certifications in Information Security such as CISSP, SANS, or equivalent business experience in a matrix organization.
- High level of personal integrity with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations professionally.
- Ability to effectively defuse critical situations and manage escalations appropriately.
- Proficient in establishing strong relationships with vendors to support initiatives; capable of negotiating and managing external vendors against deliverables.
- Knowledge of information security principles and practices.
- Proven track record in communicating, managing complex projects, and influencing others within a diversified and international matrix organization. Skilled in proposing, implementing, and managing change while questioning the status quo.
