Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Development Manager to lead the development of onshore wind and battery/hybrid energy projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing consultants, conducting technical reviews, preparing planning applications, and coordinating with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Development: Lead the development of onshore wind and battery/hybrid energy projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Consultant Management: Engage and manage consultants to conduct thorough technical reviews of expert studies and impact assessments.
  • Planning Applications: Prepare and coordinate planning applications, Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Environmental Statements (ES), and appeal documentation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate and negotiate planning compliance submissions, while monitoring and managing the reporting schedule.
  • Project Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
  • Project Delivery: Deliver projects within established budgets and timelines, ensuring strict adherence to company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in planning, environmental studies, or an engineering-related discipline.
  • Experience: Strong knowledge of planning policies and environmental impact regulations, with extensive hands-on experience in site assessment, planning applications, and the consent process.
  • Skills: Progressing towards or holding a professional qualification (e.g., MRTPI, MRICS, MIEMA, MICE) is advantageous.
