About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD Engineer and Surveyor to join our team at SSE Enterprise. As a key member of our Renewables Technical Centre of Excellence, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality engineering services to our wind farm, hydro, and solar and battery portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing and designing 2D and 3D engineering drawings using Autocad, Revit, and Civil 3D.
  • Providing accurate and quality information to inform key projects and influence operational decisions.
  • Responsible for surveying SSE Renewables Dams under the Reservoir Act.
  • Producing 2D and 3D surveys to aid production of drawings and/or advise engineering teams.
  • Creation of 3D models of Wind Farms, Solar and Battery Sites, and Hydro infrastructure.
Requirements
  • Minimum of HNC level in an appropriate engineering discipline.
  • Proficient in 2D & 3D drafting using AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent drawing packages.
  • Understanding of multi-disciplinary engineering drawing principles and engineering methods.
  • Experience of standard surveying practices, using total stations, GNSS (GPS), and digital/optical levels.
