Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Engineer to join our team at BlueGate Consulting. As a Technical Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients by providing expert engineering services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Order Engineering: Engineer orders to specified requirements from allocation to acceptance by the client.
  • CAD Design: Produce and/or update SolidWorks 3D models and drawings using information obtained from customers, suppliers, and the Production Department.
  • Equipment Specification: Specify any equipment necessary to be purchased for the order, ensuring that the technical requirements of the order are fully met by this equipment.
  • ERP Engineering: Create ERP engineering information, including Parts and Bill of Material details.
  • Documentation Management: Administer the supporting commercial, sales, engineering, quality, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Compliance: Comply with all company SHEQ policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: HNC/HND Mechanical Engineering qualification or above.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a related mechanical engineering role.
  • CAD Skills: Proficient in using CAD software (preferably SolidWorks) to create 3D models and drawings.
  • ERP System: Comfortable working with an ERP system (preferably Epicor).
  • Software Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Rotating Equipment Knowledge: Knowledge of rotating equipment would be advantageous.
