We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at JSS Search. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive commercial support to our projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide commercial leadership and guidance to quantity surveyors and operations teams.
  • Review project contract terms and tender / bid submissions, providing input into pricing strategy, qualifications, and clarifications.
  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring timely execution prior to commencement, and maximise cash flow by managing post-contract Quantity Surveying functions.
  • Secure all contract entitlements with timely notices, valuations, and billings, liaising with and managing own staff, colleagues, and customers accordingly.
Requirements
  • A relevant degree or professional qualification (RICS or CICES or similar) would be advantageous, along with relevant experience.
  • Proven ability as a commercial situational leader, with experience of managing and working with others, including admin and others that together cover all pre and post contract commercial requirements.
  • Highly proficient at using Microsoft office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Explorer, as well as web-based applications and ERPs.
  • Ability to work with and lead the commercial team to commercialise all aspects of the business.
