About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Operational Improvement Business Partner. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our business by driving continuous improvement and delivering strategic goals within Asset Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and drive business improvement initiatives aligned to strategic goals, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and future capability.
  • Deliver significant projects to achieve tangible business benefits in line with Western Power's strategic plan.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in supporting the building and maintaining of a framework for operational improvement, including best practice coaching and mentoring.
  • Lead initiatives to achieve business benefits and drive performance targets to completion.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Align projects and initiatives with organisation-wide change programs.
Requirements
  • Qualified in Lean Six Sigma or related business improvement disciplines.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification.
  • 10+ years of business improvement experience, with extensive experience in process improvement methodologies.
  • Strong project management experience and process improvement skills.
  • Proven experience in process improvement training, development, and mentorship.
  • Proven success in leading organisational and cultural change in a complex environment.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to influence at all levels of management.
  • Ability to lead self and coordinate multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
