Job Title: Personal Care Assistant

At Home Instead, we're committed to providing high-quality, relationship-led live-in care that makes a real difference in the lives of our clients. We're seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistant to join our team in Inverclyde and North Ayrshire.

About the Role

We have a lovely younger client who is looking for support in their own home. Our client will be moving into their own home with support from Home Instead within the next few months. They require help with personal care, moving and handling, social support, and domestic duties. We're building a team to work on a rota to establish continuity for this client, so this role would suit someone looking for long-term work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to our client, including assistance with daily living tasks
  • Help with moving and handling, social support, and domestic duties
  • Build strong relationships with our client and their family
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure continuity of care
What We Offer
  • Excellent rate of pay - £12.60 per hour
  • 1.5 and double time for public holidays
  • Mileage contribution 28p per mile or travel contribution for non-drivers
  • Visits of 1 hour or more with every client

Requirements
  • 2+ years care experience is necessary
  • Compassionate and reliable with a passion for supporting people
  • Good communicator who can easily build relationships with others
  • Someone who wants to make a positive difference to the life of someone older in their local community
