Our Lowestoft Service
Our service in Lowestoft is seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Support Workers to provide support to two female residents with complex needs.
The Role of a Care Support Worker:- Offer social and emotional support, both within their homes and in the community.
- Assist residents with personal care tasks, including hygiene if required.
- Provide support with shopping and budgeting.
- Foster relationships between residents and their families and friends.
- Contribute to household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
- Accompany residents on outings for walks, meals, and other activities they enjoy.
- Prior experience supporting adults with learning disabilities, including autism, is preferred but not essential. Comprehensive training will be provided to the right candidates.
- A calm, caring demeanor and a positive outlook are essential.
- Empathy, compassion, and sensitivity towards the needs of others.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literacy.
- While a driver's license is beneficial, it is not mandatory.
- Flexible working arrangements to promote work-life balance.
