About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Mental Health Nurse in the Crisis Line and Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team at East London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals experiencing mental health crises.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide Expert Advice and Support: Offer guidance and support to individuals experiencing mental health issues, working closely with other teams and organizations to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in Training and Development: Engage in training programs to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with the latest best practices and research in mental health.
- Maintain Professional Standards: Demonstrate professionalism and expertise at all times, upholding the highest standards of care and respect for individuals and their families.
- Collaborate with Colleagues and Partners: Work effectively with other teams, organizations, and stakeholders to achieve shared goals and objectives, promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
Requirements:
- Education and Qualifications: Be a Registered Mental Health Nurse or hold a relevant qualification in a related field.
- Driving License: Hold a full UK driving license, with a valid vehicle for work-related purposes.
Experience and Skills:
- Post-Qualification Experience: Possess post-qualification experience in adult and/or older adult mental health, with a strong understanding of multidisciplinary team working.
- Supervisory Experience: Have experience in supervisory roles, with a proven track record of leadership and team management.
- Assessment and Care Planning: Demonstrate expertise in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care programs, with a strong focus on individualized care and support.
- Service Development: Have experience in developing new services in mental health, with a passion for innovation and improvement.
