Assistant Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Farmfoods in Poole, Bournemouth. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Shop Manager in running an efficient shop and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Work closely with the Shop Manager to achieve sales targets and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve shop performance and reduce costs.
- Lead and motivate a team of Retail Assistants to achieve their full potential and provide excellent customer service.
- Be accountable for the shop in the absence of the Shop Manager and ensure that customers are looked after, deliveries are worked quickly and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
- Support the Shop Manager with recruitment and induction of new team members.
- A friendly, positive and hardworking approach to work.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work flexibly and be fully available for work throughout the week, including weekends.
- Some experience as a manager, team leader or supervisor.
- A competitive salary between £28,068.24 - £32,332.28 per annum on a 43 hour contract.
