Key Responsibilities- Invoice Processing: Receive and register all supplier invoices to the relevant accounts software, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Authorization and Clearance: Match and process invoices with their matching receipts and obtain the required authorization for invoice clearance.
- Invoice Ownership: Own the invoice process from receipt to payment, ensuring seamless and efficient processing.
- Query Resolution: Follow up queries ensuring invoices are approved in a timely manner, in order to meet payment cycle.
- Supplier Support: Support and deal with supplier queries working with stakeholders within other departments where necessary.
- Statement Reconciliation: Perform supplier statement reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Payment Processing: Process timely payment runs to meet supplier terms, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Month-End Processes: Work within tight deadlines for month-end processes, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
- Experience: Experience in a similar role, preferably in a financial operations or accounting environment.
- Technical Skills: Sage 200/Eque 2 experience is a must, with excellent and accurate PC skills, comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuous improvement mindset, always looking for a better way to do things.
- Teamwork: Ability to work within a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Immediate Start: Immediate start, with weekly pay.
- Flexible Hours: Monday - Friday 8.00pm with 30-minute lunch - flexible on hours if needed.
- Parking: Parking on-site.
