Job Opportunity

Trinity House Group is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join their team. This is a key role where you will be responsible for implementing finance processes and systems.

The Job:

You will be an ambitious and experienced SME Accountant with a proven track record of building strong relationships with non-financial stakeholders. Your proactive approach will enable you to take a joined-up approach to finance.

  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts.
  • Produce weekly KPI reports to provide business visibility of margin analysis and production output.
  • Analyze costs to identify key variances and trends.
  • Compile annual budgets and forecasts to ensure financial delivery of the strategic plan.
  • Identify improvements within finance systems and implement new processes and procedures for best practice, driving business intelligence and efficiencies.
  • Lead the annual audit process.
  • Oversee the accuracy of all ledgers, including robust balance sheet reconciliations and control.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
  • Excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail with a strong methodical approach to creating and reporting data.
  • Experience overseeing management accounts, business reporting, and financial operations.
  • Commercial acumen, ideally within an SME environment.
  • This is an on-site role with flexible working hours.

In return, you will receive a salary of £70,000 - £80,000 and the opportunity to work with a market-leading, growing brand with a positive and down-to-earth culture.
