About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated dietitian to join our dynamic team at Nottingham University Hospitals (NUH) NHS Trust. This permanent role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth through a rotational post encompassing various specialities within gastroenterology, hepatology, colorectal, HPB, and intestinal failure.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide expert nutritional care to patients with gastrointestinal conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans based on patient needs and medical history.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and therapists.
  • Educate patients and their families on dietary management strategies for various gastrointestinal disorders.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of nutritional care protocols within the department.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Registered Dietitian with a strong understanding of gastroenterology principles.
  • Proven experience in providing clinical nutrition care to patients with gastrointestinal conditions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
