About the Role

Cavendish House Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Risk and Compliance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our business processes, transactions, and corporate governance adhere to all relevant regulatory, legal, and internal guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with our business stakeholders to promote a strong compliance culture and ensure positive engagement and behaviors.
  • Design and implement compliance processes in accordance with industry best practices to meet regulatory expectations and ensure the firm meets its regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of compliance policies and procedures.
  • Provide sound compliance advice to business stakeholders and escalate material compliance issues to the Head of Risk and Compliance.
  • Manage and motivate the compliance team to perform their duties to the highest level and achieve company KPIs and objectives.
Requirements
  • Detailed knowledge of insurance industry best practice and compliance standards, including governance frameworks, methodologies, and emerging practices.
  • Previous experience in a compliance role, either for a broker/insurer or within a consultancy.
  • Strong communication, time management, and computer literacy skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders through excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to deal professionally with internal and external contacts and represent the business with a high level of credibility.
  • CII Certificate in Insurance and ideally working towards Diploma in Insurance.
What We Offer
  • Salary up to £55,000 depending on experience.
  • Hybrid working arrangement with 2 days/week in the office.
