Compliance Manager Job Description

As a key member of our Risk & Compliance team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of our departmental business plan, aligned with our company strategy. Your primary objective will be to lead the Risk and Compliance team in achieving departmental objectives, while fostering a strong compliance culture within Commercial Express.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Head of Risk & Compliance to develop and implement effective compliance processes, ensuring they meet regulatory expectations and market practices.
  • Establish and monitor adequate systems and controls to guarantee compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures, providing sound advice to business stakeholders.
  • Identify and escalate material compliance issues to the Head of Risk & Compliance, analyzing impact, criticality, and remedial options.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrable experience in a compliance or conduct role.
  • A proactive 'can do' attitude and flexibility.
  • Champion the compliance culture.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications to an intermediate level.
  • Analysis of management information.
  • Ability to present information/training, adapting content and tone to suit the audience.
