Contract Duration: 3 months

Position Overview:

The role involves the precise management of financial transactions related to Corporate Parenting, ensuring timely payments to Providers and Carers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accurate processing of Corporate Parenting payments and maintaining detailed records.
  2. Setting up and implementing bank and payment details for Providers and Carers in the ERP system.
  3. Assisting Providers, Carers, and Corporate Parenting Managers with invoice-related queries and non-invoice payments.
  4. Monitoring budgets in line with financial protocols and conducting regular integrity checks to verify payment accuracy.
  5. Ensuring all documentation for Direct Payments is collected and archived for audit purposes.
  6. Contributing to effective debt management and providing financial assistance to budget holders as needed.

Essential Duties:

  1. Loading all Corporate Parenting payments onto the Commitment Records and associated systems accurately.
  2. Recording contributions from other Local Authorities and generating invoices promptly.
  3. Maintaining consistency and accuracy in financial data across all systems.
  4. Providing financial statistics to management as required to comply with regulations.
  5. Conducting duties in accordance with financial regulations and departmental policies.
  6. Ensuring accuracy in all invoices and correspondence sent to other Authorities.
  7. Setting up Suppliers and Carers correctly to facilitate accurate payment processing.
  8. Addressing and resolving queries from Providers and Carers, including service cessation issues.
  9. Proactively managing inquiries related to payments and charges.
  10. Recording and sensitively resolving inquiries, escalating complex issues as necessary.
  11. Identifying and investigating debt-related issues, providing resolutions where feasible.
  12. Assisting with budget monitoring and management as required.
  13. Adhering to GDPR regulations and handling sensitive data with care.

Required Experience:

Experience with the ContrOCC system and familiarity with Corporate Parenting processes is essential.

Work Arrangement:

This position offers a hybrid work model, with one day in the office and four days remote.
