Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Community Dietitian to join our team at the Transformation Unit. As a Community Dietitian, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dietetic services to adults in the Wandsworth area.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver a general service for adults within community dietetics clinics based in health centres across Wandsworth, with a mixed caseload including nutrition support, IBS, diabetes, and weight management.
  • Work closely with the acute dietetics department to ensure safe discharge and community follow-up.
  • Travel around Wandsworth to provide services, using public transport or personal vehicle/bicycle.
Working with Our Team

Our dietetic department is a dynamic and supportive team of over 50 dietitians, providing clinical inpatient and outpatient services to various specialties. We are committed to training dietetic students and actively participate in training programs for clinical and non-clinical staff.

Requirements
  • BSc Postgraduate diploma in Nutrition and Dietetics
  • HCPC Registered
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • General postgraduate experience of working in NHS acute and/or community dietetic services
  • Experience of working in community services
