Quality Assurance Manager Job Description

Eden Scott is delighted to be retained by ERIBÉ Knitwear, a renowned knitwear manufacturer, to recruit an experienced professional for the position of Quality Assurance Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a Quality Management System within Woolly Towers, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

The QA Manager will oversee the quality performance of the main ERIBE Factory and 3rd party suppliers, including measurement, analysis, root cause, correction, and improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a Quality Management System that meets industry standards and best practices.
  • Oversee the quality performance of the main ERIBE Factory and 3rd party suppliers.
  • Ensure that QC checks are specific, relevant, and measured.
  • Maintain accurate data and documentation.
  • Identify new techniques and materials to improve product quality.
  • Liaise with the Knitwear machine programmer and knit-machine operators.
  • Organize and record testing to flag potential areas of risk.
  • Reduce the number of quality issues by ensuring product development leaves as few possibilities for errors as possible.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a quality management role.
  • Garment technologist and/or line writing positions.
  • Complete grasp of when an item reaches required QC Standards.
