Eden Scott is delighted to be retained by ERIBÉ Knitwear, a leading manufacturer of traditional yet uniquely modern Scottish knitwear, to recruit an experienced professional for the position of Quality Assurance Manager.
About the Company:
ERIBÉ Knitwear is a renowned brand with collections available at over 600 prestigious stores in 22 countries worldwide. As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be directly responsible for developing and creating the Quality Management System within the company, primarily in the Woolly Towers factory, but also for the wider business as a whole, working with our subcontractors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the Quality Management System to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with the Knitwear machine programmer and knit-machine operators to ensure that each development meets the required quality standards.
- Organize and record appropriate testing to flag potential areas of risk during the production process.
- Reduce the number of quality issues by ensuring product development leaves as few possibilities for errors as possible.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure that all products meet the required quality standards.
- Identify new techniques and materials to improve the product offering in terms of quality.
- Ensure that all data is maintained and is accurate in both development and production documentation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a quality management role.
- Garment technologist and/or line writing positions.
- Complete grasp on when an item reaches required QC Standards.
