Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Financial Business Partner to join our team and lead our Finance department. As a trusted business partner, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company forward, from steering major investment projects to transforming data into powerful insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business, accounts, reporting cycles, and financial performance.
  • Take ownership of the P&L with stakeholders and the Directors, using your keen judgement to manage and escalate issues and solutions effectively.
  • Play a pivotal role in delivering accurate forecasts/budgets and monthly accounts, and have the opportunity to present insightful Business Review Packs influencing key strategic decisions.
  • Continuously improve the quality of our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and commercial decision-making, ensuring all stakeholders receive the right support at the right time.
Requirements
  • Newly qualified accountant (CIMA or equivalent), or part-qualified and actively pursuing studies (study support available).
  • Commercial business knowledge and FP&A experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ambitious, determined, and eager to engage with teams, you are driven to challenge the norm, status quo and contribute to strategic decision-making.
  • Team player with a strong motivation to succeed, resilience, well-organized and structured approach.
  • Able to foster productive relationships across the businesses with multi-level contacts.
  • Experience of financial management systems.
  • ERP systems experience is a bonus.
