Position Overview

As the Chief Compliance and Risk Officer, you will oversee the compliance frameworks across all jurisdictions within the organization. You will serve as the primary contact and escalation point for all compliance-related issues, spearheading the compliance strategy. Your role will involve fostering and sustaining a positive compliance culture while enhancing awareness of regulatory and financial crime risks throughout the organization. You will provide assistance and support to the business in achieving its strategic, financial, and operational objectives in accordance with the regulatory and legal frameworks applicable to its operations, thereby protecting the company's reputation and integrity.

Key Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management and compliance, ideally within a global organization.
  • Comprehensive understanding of AML, CFT, financial crimes, regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical capabilities to evaluate complex scenarios, identify risks, and formulate effective solutions.
  • Proven track record in developing and executing compliance programs and risk management strategies.
  • Experience collaborating with regulatory bodies and external auditors to resolve compliance challenges.
  • Prior leadership or managerial experience with a history of guiding and nurturing high-performing teams.
  • Solid grasp of AML/CFT, risk appetite, and associated business practices.
  • Technical expertise to establish credibility both internally and externally.
  • Experience in risk and compliance within the financial services sector, with a thorough understanding of the Wealth Management industry, client requirements, and familiarity with trust and company laws.
