Offshore Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Offshore Supervisor to join our team at IKM Testing UK. As an Offshore Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of operational activities, maintaining effective client and employee relations, and ensuring compliance with quality and HSE management systems.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Management
- Assist in the management of onsite operations, ensuring efficient execution and effective client relations.
- Travel onshore/offshore on an ad-hoc basis, either locally or internationally, to support operational activities.
- Client Liaison
- Liaise with clients onsite to ensure their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Quality and HSE
- Ensure QA and HSE requirements are met, and all operational activities are performed in accordance with agreed procedures.
- Team Leadership
- Supervise activities of junior staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Oversee general daily functions performed/assigned to subordinates, empowering them to achieve tasks and develop team relationships.
- Equipment Management
- Accurately spot equipment, bunded areas, and containers to minimize disruption to client sites.
- Ensure all safety requirements are met and understood, and perform job-specific calculations as required.
- Reporting and Documentation
- Assist in the completion of paperwork to agreed standards.
- Responsible for ensuring operations are conducted under the relevant client permit-to-work system.
- Essential
- Basic Secondary education.
- Preferred
- College Diploma or higher.
- Essential
- Experience in an onshore/offshore Oil & Gas market.
- Able to read P&IDs/Isometric drawings.
- Offshore experience in Nitrogen Operations.
- Able to line walk and punch list systems.
- Preferred
- Ability to perform job-specific calculations.
- Sound technical knowledge of Diesel engines.

- Strong personal leadership and supervisory skills.
- Must have strong communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence others.

- Ability to work well in a team whilst also independently using own initiative.
