As the Offshore Operations Manager, you will serve as the representative of the Project Execution Department, engaging with Clients, Contractors, and Subcontractor representatives, along with the Vessel Master. You will provide clients with insights into operational capabilities and limitations.

Your responsibilities will encompass all aspects related to the Scope of Work, including mobilization and demobilization processes, managing operations, and addressing emergency situations onboard, excluding Marine emergencies. This role carries significant authority, allowing you to ensure that your team operates within established constraints and aligns with the Company's objectives.

You will be responsible for conducting regular project safety meetings, ensuring safety reporting is completed, and that all personnel involved in operations are fulfilling their designated tasks. It is essential to maintain all equipment and spare parts in optimal condition to guarantee efficient operations. This includes assessing the inventory of spares required for upcoming operations based on the operational region and project duration. You will also ensure that daily worksite reports are generated, accurately reflecting reporting requirements and operational procedures. Additionally, you will review Project Hazard Identification Risk Assessments (HIRA) and Risk Assessments (RA).

Maintaining precise records, preparing formal procedures, and delegating operational tasks to team members and ship's crew will be key aspects of your role. You will also evaluate crew performance and utilize the Appraisal and Competence Scheme as necessary.

While our primary operational hub is in the Atlantic region, our fleet of advanced vessels operates globally, providing opportunities to experience diverse environments and cultures. Requirements
  • Degree level or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical or a relevant discipline (desirable)
  • Supervisor certification
  • Experience in Subsea Operations
  • Proven experience in an Offshore Supervisory role within the Subsea or Offshore environment is essential
  • Working knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry Technical Specifications and Standards
  • In-depth knowledge of subsea operations involving divers and/or ROVs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Document Control Systems
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a friendly and articulate demeanor
  • Able to engage in discussions on significant issues at the Senior Management level
  • Good organizational skills
