Offshore Operations Manager

DOF Subsea UK is actively seeking an Offshore Operations Manager to oversee our projects. If you excel in a fast-paced and challenging environment, we are eager to hear from you.
As the Offshore Operations Manager, you will act as the representative of the Project Execution Department, engaging with Clients, Contractors, and Subcontractor representatives, as well as the Vessel Master. Your role will involve briefing clients on operational capabilities and limitations.
Your responsibilities will encompass all activities related to the Scope of Work, including mobilization and demobilization, managing operations, and addressing emergency situations onboard, excluding Marine emergencies. This position carries significant authority, enabling you to ensure that your team operates within established constraints and aligns with the Company's objectives.
You will be responsible for organizing regular project safety meetings, conducting safety reporting, and ensuring that all personnel involved in operations are fulfilling their designated tasks. It will be your duty to verify that all equipment and spare parts are maintained in satisfactory condition to support efficient operations. This includes assessing the number of spares required for upcoming operations based on the region and project duration. You will also ensure that daily worksite reports are generated, reflecting the necessary reporting requirements and operational procedures. Additionally, you will review Project Hazard Identification Risk Assessments (HIRA) and Risk Assessments (RA).
Maintaining accurate records, preparing formal procedures, and delegating operational tasks to team members and ship's crew will be essential. You will evaluate crew performance and utilize the Appraisal and Competence Scheme as needed.

Requirements
- Degree level or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical or a relevant discipline (preferred)
- Supervisor certification
- Experience in Subsea Operations
- Proven experience in an Offshore Supervisory role within the Subsea or Offshore environment is essential
- Working knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry Technical Specifications and Standards
- In-depth knowledge of subsea operations utilizing divers and/or ROVs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Document Control Systems
- Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to approach problem-solving with enthusiasm and clarity
- Capable of discussing significant issues at the Senior Management Level
- Strong organizational skills
