As an Offshore Operations Manager, you will act as the representative of the Project Execution Department, engaging with Clients, Contractors, and Subcontractor representatives, along with the Vessel Master. You will provide clients with insights into operational capabilities and limitations.

Your responsibilities will encompass all aspects related to the Scope of Work, including mobilization and demobilization, managing operations, and addressing emergency situations onboard, excluding Marine emergencies. This role carries significant authority, enabling you to ensure that your team operates within established constraints and aligns with the Company's objectives.

You will facilitate regular project safety meetings, ensure safety reporting is conducted, and confirm that all personnel involved in operations are fulfilling their designated roles. Additionally, you will oversee the condition and maintenance of all equipment and spare parts to guarantee efficient operations. This includes assessing the inventory of spares required for upcoming operations based on the operational region and project duration. You will ensure that daily worksite reports are generated, accurately reflecting reporting requirements and operational procedures. You will also review Project HIRA's and RA's.

Maintaining precise records, preparing formal procedures, and delegating operational tasks to your team and the ship's crew will be part of your duties. You will evaluate crew performance and utilize the Appraisal and Competence Scheme as necessary.

While our primary operational hub is in the Atlantic region, our fleet of advanced vessels operates globally, providing you with opportunities to experience diverse environments and cultures. Requirements
  • Degree level or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical or a relevant discipline (desirable)
  • Supervisor certification
  • Experience in Subsea Operations
  • Proven experience in an Offshore Supervisory role within the Subsea or Offshore sector is essential
  • Working knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry Technical Specifications and Standards
  • In-depth knowledge of subsea operations utilizing divers and/or ROVs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Word/Excel/PowerPoint and Document Control Systems
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving with a positive and articulate demeanor
  • Capable of discussing critical issues at Senior Management Level
  • Good organizational skills
